How long do video game rentals usually allow you to rent the game?

i am from torranceHow long do video game rentals usually allow you to rent the game?
A video game that just came out and has a strong fan base, may only be rentable for 2-3 days. For example, when Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out in a few days, chances are that certain rental stores will choose to put a 2-3 day limit on how long you can have the game before you have to return it. If you don't, well there are late charges. Places like Movie Gallery charge you WAY too much for a late fee, so I suggest you get ALL your movies and games in on time. I sometimes have to end up paying 25 more bucks just for one or two days passed the due date!

If a game isn't that popular or has been out for awhile, most stores allow a 7 day rental peroid. Some may make it 5 days, but chances are you'll have a week to play your game and bring it back. New Movies on the other hand, they almost always have a 2 day rental peroid. Some may even have a 1 day rental period, or perhaps they offer you some extra or maybe even cut some of your cost down for bringing the movie back early. Any other movie can be rented up for a week before being considered late. How long do video game rentals usually allow you to rent the game?
1 day, 3 days or a week depending on the game

you can just hand it in late for additional charge
