Well I want to rent some games online and I was wondering if GameFly really is the best option. If not, any suggestions as to any other good service?? Thanks.Is the online game rental service Gamefly good???
Yes Gamefly is actually a very good service. There are cheaper options out there, most overseas but it's not worth it. They will send you the wrong games, fake games, games from a different PAL area (meaning it won't work in North America) or it might just be a scam.
Gamefly is only around $10 a month for one game at a time, or you can go up to three games at a time for around $30. They have a very big selection and they get games as soon as they are released.
A few downsides are that they only have two locations so shipping times take awhile. My games take about 6 days to come. Also it's very, very hard to get a new game right away because of all the requests, you just have to get lucky. Also they only have current software, no old school games.
But overall I reccommend it!
