I have a job interview at hollywood video, (its a movie/game rental store) and was wondering what to wear?

number one--don't wear jeans! it doesn't matter than this is not a corporate job but you should still dress professionally. Wear dress pants and sensible shoes. You want to be respectful of the interview process but dont want to come off like your above doing ';actual work';.





Alternatively, you could dress up like your favorite movie character. If you could pull it off, try dressing as Chris Parker (played by Elisabeth Shue) in the movie ';Adventures in Babysitting';. She is both hot and sensible -- a perfect combination for a Hollywood Video employee.

Well, I suggest you dress professionally to make a good impression on your first few days/weeks. As you get comfortable with your job and your co-workers, start dressing the way you want to. Besides, working at a video store shouldn't matter how you dress; as long as you have a good personality and nice attitude towards your customers and co-workers, you'll be fine. Good luck!
I always go with it's better to be overdressed than under. So I don't recommend jeans or anything. If you have nice khaki pants or black dress pants and a simple button down you should be in business.
i just wore jeans and a nice t shirt because i don't really have anything nice, and i got the job, yay!
